The rehabilitation of this eclectic Chalet is ongoing. Integrated in the rehabilitation project of the Ludovice Palace, our team started conservation and restoration of stone elements, tiled walls, wooden spans and mural paintings of this which is one of the most important ensembles in the history of Lisbon’s urban architecture.
We’ve entered the final phase of the conservation and restoration intervention of the exuberant tile panel by Eduardo Nery, which appears on the facade of the Pharmacy Museum building. Very soon it will be possible to revisit it in its immense golden splendor.
This week the intervention for the conservation and restoration of stone elements in the pattern of Senhor Roubado at Odivelas was concluded. This second phase of intervention complemented the settlement of the replica of the Standard, dignifying its framing and ensuring that the set will remain in function for many more years.
Another intervention has been completed. This time the lifting, conservation, restoration and conditioning of a 1994, manually produced tile panel, by the Master Ceramist José David Esteves (Relvas). The tile panel represents kids playing activities and belonged to the facade of a daycare center. This work was commissioned by the Municipality of Coruche.
An emergency intervention was completed on the tile panel in honor of Father António Vieira, in Lisbon. The panel was in the process of being detached and was raised for treatment of the support, cleaning and laying.
