Project: Rehabilitation of the Mendonça Palace for the residence of Prince Aga Khan.
Background: Mendonça Palace
Rehabilitation intervention that included all exterior stone elements; wooden spans; historic renders and roof skylights. In a second phase, an intervention of conservation and restoration of the walls and entrance of the Palace was carried out.
Rehabilitation of all referred elements, with the following objectives: stabilization, return of aesthetic integrity and full capacity of spaces and their elements.
It was an ambitious project in terms of deadlines, executed under strict conditions and simultaneously with teams from several companies. Also worth mentioning is the skylight intervention that was carried out in suspension by ropes.
