Description: Ceramic tile panels, in the famous “enxaquetados” form, made in the now extinct Sacavém ceramic fabric, half-squared style in blue and white pattern.
Intervention: The conservation and restoration intervention focused on the material stabilization of the tiles, namely by lifting the tiles and removing soluble salts where evident and their replacement, structural stabilization of the panels, gluing of fractures, correction of unevenness and joints, mortar adequacy, and chromatic and pictorial integration through the use of innovative tonal mass reintegration techniques.
